The ultra-modern city of Glasgow is a huge metropolis, which, however, has preserved a lot of antiquity in its exterior. The history of Glasgow goes back about one and a half thousand years. Originally, the city was a tiny little thing off the coast of River Clyde, but the technical revolution led to rapid growth that brought forth one of the largest industrial centers of the United Kingdom.
